The Product
Bridge is a corporate learning solution that helps make employees smarter and more productive.
Observations
Creators hate writing quiz questions. They want to spend their time defining clear learning objectives and developing good content.
The Problem
Build a tool that allows authors to create quizzes based upon learning objectives, without ever having to write a single question.
Learns which questions are best over time.
Author never has to write a single question.
Allows the Author to truly begin with learning objectives when building a knowledge assessment.
As a result, this became the very first thing sales reps would demo to potential clients. They had never seen anything like this before and it gave them renewed excitement for creating assessments for their courses.
The Product
Access Perks is an employee perks program that provides deals on places you eat, shop, play, and travel.
Observations
Mobile redeem rates for coupons was way too low. We weren't taking advantage of mobile's greatest strength: location-based notifications.
The Problem
Give the app a new, more modern look. Make a map an integral part of the functionality. Improve coupon redeem flows.
Once programs migrated to the new app we saw an increase of 50% on users clicking through to view coupons.
50% increase on employees clicking on the travel tab (which is great since travel bookings are a major source of revenue).
The Product
Audit Manager is an all-in-one audit management solution that helps simplify medical documentation and coding reviews.
Observations
With most users working on a 13" screen, the large navigation style was requiring way too much scrolling. Basic table functions were unintuitive and not being used.
The Problem
Free up users' workspace. Create a table that behaves in a way familiar to the user, and tests well for a set of scenario'd tasks.
After 4 major rounds of revisions and testing, the re-design increased success rates of our scenarios from 20% to 95%.
Navigation changes increased visible workspace for the majority of our users by 35%.
Added functionality while reducing visual complexity.

Observations
An outdated UI was causing a lack of trust in users. There was an unusually high drop-out rate for the checkout page.
The Problem
Update the UI to feel more modern. Give users a way to confidently view what their total booking cost will be before they select a room.
False traffic sneaking through to the checkout page almost completely.
Surprisingly, conversion increased on hotel bookings by about 20% (cool side note - I did the math and the net revenue generated by this feature covered my salary for an entire year)
Test groups were able to accomplish all three tasks from the results page with nearly a 100% success rate.

Admins love graphs and visuals. They often need high-level organization info available to them on very short notice.
The Problem
Create a place where Admins could flexibly see the good (and the bad) within their organization's training program without too much clicking around.
Provided a snapshot of the health of the organization's training program.
Allows the user to easily change the time rage of displayed data.
Allows the user to take quick, bulk actions without having to dive into the data.
